Adhere to the rules
Start by carefully reading the entry criteria and make sure you are eligible to submit an entry for that specific award/category – this will ensure you avoid spending time on writing an entry that won’t be accepted! Have a browse around the website and take note of key information and dates such as the submission deadline. Late entries will not be accepted by the judging panel.

Category Selection
It may sound simple, but ensuring you pick the right category/s for the individual or team you are nominating is vital. Take the time to read over the entry criteria for each category; you may even find that your submission fits into more than one category. If this is the case, submit an entry for each related category but make sure you tailor each submission and don’t just copy and paste!

The Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Awards are open to all Health and Social Care professionals and teams from any sector or service; this includes the NHS, independent, private and voluntary sectors.
